Retail Crapshoot

From the The Chicago Tribune - "Mistakes Found in Pricing at Wal-Mart": "Wal-Mart Stores Inc. charged the wrong price to shoppers in California and the Midwest at a rate that exceeds those set by federal guidelines, according to two union-commissioned university studies released Monday."

So I wonder if Wal-Mart's scanners are made by the same folks who make the very reliable voting machines - Diebold?

This honestly doesn't surprise me. I've completely given up on Wal-Mart, and hit Costco instead.

Way to go!

Despite that fact that there is not much around here thats not owned by Wal-mart when it comes to getting groceries, or other kitchen/cooking related items, we have managed to only spend out $20 at Wal-Mart in the last 3-4 months.

Competitition is the American way right? :-)

Yep...

It was actually one of my 3 new years resolutions to not shop at Walmart. I did (tsk tsk) hit Sam's Club two or three times earlier this year, but not Walmart. That's almost one year. And now with my Costco membership, I'll be completely Wal-free.
